
Pacific Northwest National Laboratory is developing the material for the U.S. Department of Energy's Solid State Energy Conversion Alliance (SECA) Core Technology Program. PNNL researchers hope to create a solid oxide fuel cell power generation system by 2010 that can be mass-produced in modular form for less than $400 per kilowatt, installed.
