
Software produced by the Pacific Northwest Regional Collaboratory combines NASA images with complex computer programs to provide detailed information on the distribution of cheatgrass and shrub cover over thousands of square miles. This example shows approximately 80 square miles of Ada County in southern Idaho, including cultivated areas.
