External construction on the first four buildings of the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory's $20 million construction program in north Richland nears completion in 1970. The Auditorium (right) was scheduled for completion in September 1970. The Research Operations Building, Mathematics Building, and Physical Science Building (PSL) were slated for operation in August.
