| Background: | Virion began selling its first products in 1999 after several years of assistance from PNNL and other Tri-City partners. Virion's operations are in the Applied Process Engineering Laboraratory, a Richland incubator facility in which Battelle is a partner. PNNL assisted the company with packaging, mixing technology, clean room protocol, setup and operation of analytical equipment, and market assessment. |
