Document Title: LSL II
Category: Facilities
Media Type: Photos
Date of Image/Photo: September 2002
Background: Proteomics embraces the systematic study of proteins using new technologies and techniques. Where genomics allows insight into what is possibly expressed in a cell, proteomics shows what actually occurs. Proteomics has the potential to solve problems in energy production and conservation, global climate change, human health protection, bioremediation and pathogenesis caused by biowarfare agents.
