Researchers at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory have developed an innovative and versatile device that measures radiation exposure to workers. The Optically Stimulated Luminescence Dosimeter is reliable, accurate, and inexpensive. It allows instantaneous, repeatable readings while traditional dosimeters take 20 or 30 seconds for a one-time-only reading.
