Piping systems are used to deliver freshwater, raw seawater, and filtered seawater to the Battelle Marine Sciences Laboratory (MSL) wet laboratory in support of a variety of experiments for agencies and industry. A redundant system provides a continuous supply of filtered and unfiltered seawater to experimental tanks. Seawater can be provided at a rate of 250 gallons per minute.
