Former and current workers of the 326 and 329 Buildings gathered for one last photo opportunity before the buildings are turned over to Washington Closure Hanford in February 2011. The three gentlemen in this photo worked in Building 329 when it first opened in 1953. Staff from both facilities began moving into the newly built Physical Sciences Facility (PSF) in late July as part of the transition of 300 Area capabilities. Throughout 2010, about 220 staff who support PNNL’s national and homeland security, and energy research missions will move into the PSF at the north end of the PNNL campus.
