Background: The ion-funnel technology a key component for the development of “A Universal Multiplex Assay System for High-Throughput Clinical Applications,” a project funded as a NIH Director’s New Innovator Award in 2009 to Dr. Qian. The instrument is located within one of EMSL’s proteomics lab (EMSL 1621). EMSL is a Department of Energy scientific user facility located at PNNL.
