The Multi-photon Microscope seamlessly integrates nonlinear two-photon excitation, laser-scanning confocal microscopy, and fluorescence lifetime imaging in one fully automated system for multi-spectral cellular imaging. The microscope provides advantages in imaging live tissue and is housed within a prime location to manage the needs and logistics of experimentation. EMSL is a Department of Energy national scientific user facility located at PNNL.

This microscopy system supports EMSL's ongoing commitment to studying biological interactions and dynamics using state-of-the-art instruments that achieve new insights into living systems. It is featured among EMSL's Cell Isolation and Systems Analysis (CISA) capability and available to EMSL users.
